Since 2005, Hamden Sport Center has quickly become a leader in the New England hockey world. A specialty hockey shop, Hamden Sport carries every major brand. As an offshoot of Cheshire Sport, the store brings with it experience in the sporting goods industry since 1971. Operating under Cheshire or Hamden Sport, the company has outfitted generations of hockey players.
Unlike large chain stores or warehouse-type hockey stores, Hamden Sport takes the proper amount of time that needs to be spent to perfectly fit our customers with every piece of equipment in our store. Our focus of “fitting” the customer is translated through our employees knowledge of the sport, as every one of Hamden Sport's employees is a high-level current or former hockey player.
No matter what level of the hockey player; learn to skate, youth, college , or men’s league, Hamden Sports is the one-stop hockey shop that you need. Our product list includes items that can fill any player's needs. From the newest top of the line skates to our fully stocked used skate area with over 300 pairs to choose from, you will always walk out the door satisfied.
Working with over 14 College or High School teams, Hamden Sport can outfit your team from head to toe. With an in-house screen printing and embroidery company, all of your soft good needs can be met, with the highest level of quality at a reasonable price.
Our newly improved goalie department includes items from all the major brands. Our ever expanding product line includes items from, Bauer, Vaughn, Brians, RBK, Warrior, and Sportmask. With 3/4 of our staff as former or current goalies, Hamden Sport prides itself in its ability to fit every goalie.
